The mission of Career and Technical Education is to help students discover educational purpose, personal potential and a pathway to their future.
The Goals of Career & Technical Education
- Improve instructional quality through continuous professional development
- Increase enrollment across all student populations, including non-traditional programs
- Increase student achievement as measured by state skills testing
- Increase student achievement levels in literacy, mathematics, and science
- Identify clear pathways for all C.T.E. programs
- Increase student graduation rates (9-12)
- Increase student enrollment in post secondary training and job placement
- Increase student leadership through participation in C.T.S.O's
